And on top of this, the new technology also increases the camera's processing speed by up to 30%.

The outstanding µ[mju:] reputation for quality clearly shines through in this model. Besides its 4 million pixels, the camera has a high-precision 3x optical zoom (equivalent to 35 - 105mm on a 35mm camera) which has been specially designed to suit the CCD. This delivers high-quality images that really impress, even when printed in A4 format. And by supporting the PictBridge standard, printing couldn't be easier. When used together with compatible printers, such as the Olympus dye-sublimation printer P-10 which delivers A6 photo-realistic prints with great colour reproduction and high durability, the need for a PC is eliminated.
Let the camera do the work with its advanced automatic modes and scene programs so that you are left with pure digital shooting enjoyment and fantastic photographic results. Besides the programme mode, the µ[mju:] 410 Digital gives you the choice of eight different scene programmes - Portrait, Self-Portrait, Night Scene, Landscape, Landscape with Portrait, Beach and Snow, Cuisine, Indoor - to suit many typical shooting situations. What's more, a movie recording function plus sound has also been integrated so that your images really come to life with movement. The length of footage possible is only limited by the capacity of the xD-Picture Card used.
On the back, the µ[mju:] 410 Digital has a 1.5" 134,000 pixel LCD monitor which is ideal for framing and immediately sharing the results with others. The top-class opto-digital technology is protected in a weather-proof* metal body - so shooting may be carried out under any conditions, no matter what the weather has in store.
