With its “one button, one function” trademark, shooting, playback and erase functions are clearly delineated to ensure operation is a complete cinch. A special help function in the menu even describes each of the four programme modes, including portrait and night scene, on the LCD monitor.

But this camera offers more than just point-and-shoot ease. Video sequences – limited in length only by the available memory – can also be captured. In addition, the Super Macro mode enables shooting from as close as 2cm. And because this model supports the PictBridge communication standard, printing on compatible printers, such as the Olympus P-10, becomes an everyday pleasure.
